Roger Higgins

Roger Higgins is a Senior Lecturer in Psychological Therapies and Mental Health at Leeds Metropolitan University, where he is Co-ordinator of the Wellness Centre Counselling Service. He has a special interest in self-care and the importance of therapists recognizing how they can be affected by their work with clients, physically, psychologically, emotionally, and spiritually, and how they can effectively manage this. He has conducted research, facilitated workshops, and written courses on this subject in both the UK and the USA.
