Dr Miltiades Hadjiosif

Dr Miltos Hadjiosif is a Senior Lecturer in Counselling Psychology at the University of the West of England, Bristol and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. He is an integratively trained therapist, who is heavily influenced by psychodynamic ideas. His research has focused on the discursive and narrative dimensions of psychotherapeutic knowledge and calls for an interrogation of popular culture in order to nuance the relationship between the consulting room and the ‘real world’. Miltos is a Committee Member of the BPS Community Psychology Section and has worked with young offenders at risk of custody. He volunteers for a number of community projects.
