Dr Elaine Aron

Elaine Aron, Ph.D., a licensed clinical psychologist in private practice, has also been researching high sensitivity since 1990. She and her husband, Art, have published numerous studies of the trait in the leading scientific journals, in particular research on brain imaging and measurement. In addition, she has written five books for the general public, including The Highly Sensitive Person (in 29 languages), The Highly Sensitive Child, and for therapists, Psychotherapy and the Highly Sensitive Person, and maintains a website and blog for the benefit of HSPs – hsperson.com. She and her husband Arthur Aron are also well known for their study of love and close relationships.
