Amy Cox
Amy is a land based educator and basket maker interested in the therapeutics of working with plants. Primarily, she makes foraging baskets, inspired by and made of plants including willow, rush and bark. She is also co-founder of The Birch Collective, a CIC offering nature based wellbeing and practical skills to 16-25 yr olds to support mental health.
In her practice and her teaching, she is deeply inspired by the natural world and exploring this relationship through foraging, working with natural materials and creative expression. She hopes her work inspires others to take notice, to see the beauty, and to care for the land around them.
Currently, she is a student at the School of Intuitive Herbalism, learning from the plants directly, developing intuitive awareness and exploring the healing processes that come from this human-plant relationship.
