Ozichi Brewster

Ozichi Brewster is a Therapeutic Gardener at RHS Garden Bridgewater, Salford. Ozichi transitioned from working within mental health for many years to become a community gardener working with community projects to promote health and well-being through food growing.

Ozichi has been a gardener for most of her life and can remember as far back as a five-year-old being smitten with the activity of working with plants and being in nature. As Ozichi states: “Gardening and using this as a tool to connect with others has brought me the greatest pleasure, both for my own health and well-being and the impact of gardening in rehabilitating and transforming lives.”
