Heather Churchill, PsyD
Dr Heather Churchill is the Associate Director of the Therapeutic Community Program, the Director of Health and Wellness, and a psychoanalyst who provides psychotherapy and psychological testing at the Austen Riggs Center, a psychoanalytic hospital in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. Dr. Churchill completed an internship at Utah State Hospital, where she received intensive training in dialectical behavioral therapy and provided individual, group, and family therapy, as well as psychological assessments, followed by training in the Austen Riggs Fellowship in psychoanalytic psychotherapy. She is interested in the overlap between psychodynamic psychotherapy and other modalities, including dialectical behavioral therapy and contemplative practices. In addition, Dr. Churchill is a trained group relations consultant, has consulted at numerous group relations conferences, and is former president of the Center for the Study of Groups and Social Systems.
