Mike Morgan
Mike Morgan is a Senior Lecturer in the Faculty of Health & Life Sciences at Coventry University, and has been teaching Social & Therapeutic Horticulture there since 2003 – including launching and leading a postgraduate module in Nature-Assisted Practice in 2016. His interest and experience in the therapeutic potential of landscapes, horticulture and other forms of nature-assisted practice began in his work in a residential community for adults with severe personality disorders; but he has since applied this in a wide range of other settings, including forensic mental health and psychiatric intensive care.
He is passionate, too, regarding the development of new and sustainable interventions within health and social care, and empowering communities to work together to become more ‘naturally’ healthy.
