Andrea Oskis
Andrea Oskis is a psychotherapist, food writer and senior lecturer in psychology at Middlesex University, London. In both teaching and research, her expertise is attachment, from theory to practice. Her PhD was in psychophysiology, looking at stress and attachment styles, including how this links to food and feeding. She researches and writes, for a range of audiences, on food and feelings more broadly. Andrea is an attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist in private practice in north London. She is also a professional cook, having trained at Leith’s School of Food and Wine. Her blog, Cupboard Love (www.cupboard-love.co.uk), is about life lessons from the kitchen to the (therapy) couch. She is delighted to have been nominated for the Investigative Food Award at this year’s Guild of Food Writers Awards.
