Anastasia Patrikiou
Anastasia Patrikiou is a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist. After training and working as an architect for a number of years, she completed a post-graduate diploma in Person-Centred Counselling at Strathclyde University and an Attachment-based Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy training at The Bowlby Centre.
In 2006 she set up the Talking Therapies Project, a counselling service at Age UK Camden, which offered therapy to people from Black and Minority Ethnic Groups and to people with early-onset to mid-stage Dementia. The scheme was initially piloted by the DoH and then later mainstreamed because of its success. She has been in private practice since 2003, and also works with people with Eating Disorders at the Priory Hospital.
