Tamar Posner
Tamar Posner is of Israeli heritage and, although born in the UK, most of her formative years were spent in Jerusalem. With a doctorate in chemistry, she had successful careers in both academia and industry before taking the opportunity to re-train as a psychotherapist, the profession she had always felt drawn to. As an integrative psychotherapist and clinical supervisor in private practice, Tamar works with adults and has a particular interest in the challenges that accompany life’s transitions. As well as being a founder editor of the e-journal Contemporary Psychotherapy, Tamar has held a number of teaching positions, served as an academic supervisor and for six years was Chair of The Minster Centre Board of Trustees, the institute at which she trained.
