This book combines research, theory and practice, with 21examples of replacement children, including the author’s own experience. It offers insights for treatment & prevention and informs about long-term consequences of the replacement child condition & the risk of transgenerational transmission.

Rather than staying descriptive of the ‘problem’, Individuation for Adult Replacement Children illustrates the transformative process of discovering ‘New Ways of Coming into Being’ – offering an existential experience for both the practitioner and the patient.

Kristina Schellinski has published articles in international journals and presented papers at international and national congresses and conferences, and offers training in English, French and German. She is a co-founder of the replacementchildforum.com, a website offering resources and sharing to health professionals and adult replacement children.
