Terri Rubinstein

Terri Rubinstein, PhD, LMFT, is a psychotherapist and consultant in private practice in Berkeley, CA.  She specializes in providing depth psychotherapy to individual adults and couples from a relational and socioculturally informed perspective that draws on an integration of Buddhist philosophy and traditional psychoanalytic thinking. She currently supervises and teaches at The Psychotherapy Institute where she is also a past president. She has published and taught continuing education courses on relational psychotherapy, clinical supervision, empathy and compassion in the clinical encounter and alienation in our current global ecological context.
