Energy psychotherapy works deeply, helping to address a wide range of conditions including PTSD, patterns of transgenerational, attachment, in-utero, preverbal, developmental and complex trauma. The techniques offered on this course are direct and gentle, and the teaching is experiential.
READ MORE...In this short course you will learn about and experience energy boundaries and maintenance, clearing emotional and energetic residues of daily client work including releasing the after-effects of challenging session. You will develop presence and learn not to ‘take on’ the energy of your clients, maintaining your wellbeing and building resilience.
In this course we bring together our core facilitators from the Confer Energy Psychotherapy Diploma to offer grounded techniques to support and regulate the therapist’s emotional and energy systems. The aim of this course is to demonstrate how you can tap in to your mind and body’s energy systems creating an astonishing therapeutic synergy and balance.
We will undertake the learning collectively as a group, with a mixture of small talks, demonstrations, group processing and practice with each person working experientially on their own issues. We set up a safe, confidential space with the group, and each session will be ‘held’ in an energy field to maximise the richness, depth, learning and healing for each participant.

Introduction to Subtle Energy, Blocked Energy, and Intention
In this first session we will:
- Introduce the concept of a healing ‘Field’ and use the Blue Diamond Field, developed by Phil Mollon, to contain our work.
- Introduce you to subtle and simple energy techniques which work in a heart centred state of presence beyond the ego.
- Teach you how to balance your body’s energy.
- Explore the concept of ‘reversals’ – blocked energy and beliefs such as I’m too busy to spend time on myself – which inhibit self-care.
- Learn how to clear such blocked energy and bring in resources through positive intentions.

Introduction to Acupoint Tapping to Reduce Stress
In the second session we will:
- Look at various ways to deal with stress with an emphasis will be on developing ‘presence’ and grounding.
- Set up the healing field by using centring breath work, energy balancing techniques to balance subtle energy in the body and establish the Blue Diamond field.
- Introduce acupoint tapping.
- Apply tapping using experiential exercises to attend to areas of difficulty and stress to help regulate your body.

Clearing Triggers and Daily Residues
The third session will focus on learning to clear and maintain our energy fields, and we will explore the following areas:
- Energy balancing
- Calming the nervous system with specific techniques
- Psyche and soma – minimising the impact of being in fragmented energy fields
- Energy methods for protecting our energy field using various techniques
- Introducing healing circles to support vulnerable parts and bring in support
- Application and practice of acupoint tapping to relieve triggers and stress
- Clearing the field at the end of the day using chakras

Energy Boundaries, Inner Resilience and Presence Over Empathy
Our final session will address the issue of maintaining resilient energy boundaries, in order that we do not burn out, become drained, or ‘take on’ others’ stress. Topics will include:
- The concept of energy boundaries.
- The difference between presence and empathy.
- The hazards of empathy and experiencing vicarious trauma.
- Identifying and strengthening energy boundaries using acupoint tapping and chakra clearing.
- Use of intention and positive self-belief.
